Isadora

Every time I get on and look in the Isadora shop I feel like I'm shopping for a party. Each garment she makes is so special and unique! And they are all so brightly colored. Living in the Pacific Northwest we need to wear color to counteract all the grey weather :-) So here is what Rachelle, the designer, has to say about herself:

I've been sewing for about 25 years....since I was 5...do the math :) My favorite part of it all is creating. I'm an artist....painting, drawing, sculpting, decorating, designing, sewing, are all in a days work. From the time I was a little girl....there wasn't a garment in my closet that didn't have a speck of paint on it, as I'm sure you can imagine I wasn't my mother's dream daughter, lol. My love of designing started as a teenager. I come from an extremely artistic family, my grandmother is a painter, a cousin who is an architect, my sister is in advertising design and I've delved into just nearly a touch of everything. My real concept of designing began to flourish though, in college, where I made several trips here and there around the globe. I've traveled most of Europe, a few areas of Russia and the Middle East. These trips didn't just give me my sense of style, I also met my tall, dark, handsome Romeo on one excursion! I enjoy chatting with people, making friends and drawing inspiration from my two wonderful, very imaginative children :)

Okay now for the part where I show you all the fabulous things she has in her shop! When I first visited I did not leave empty handed. The first items I had to have for Miss Ellie were:

And here is what Miss Ellie looked like in her new Isadora outfit:

The leggings are Isadora too- yes she is a very talented lady!

I love how comfy this outfit is for Ellie, and it washed up great! Also... she felll that day at a friends house, skinned her knee in these beautiful white tights.....and there was no damage! I don't know if it was luck, or just that its good fabric, but I don't care. They didn't get ruined! So wanna see more... OK

I wasn't kidding about all the color. Plus I love how she photographs the pieces. I can just envision Ellie doing the same poses. So Miss Rachelle is more than dresses, she too creates the hair accessories and adorable (durable) leggings!

I know you will have a really hard time deciding which pieces to get first. But I promise you will not be disappointed. The items look just as great in person as they do in the photos. I hope you become a fan and a customer of Isadora like I have. Enjoy!
