So not only I am excited to show you all the adorable hats and photo props that Jeanelle creates, but we get to look at beautiful babies modeling them. My BFF Annie just had her baby girl Maebel this weekend! and I was so excited to be able to take her two hats from Kriner Creations. I can't wait to see her in them!!! Jeanelle is a mom of 2 who is from the lovely Nampa, ID. And I say lovely because I hear it is a really nice little town, my good friend Melinda just moved there- small world.

Well...I taught myself to crochet from youtube, so maybe the internet isn't ALL bad :)!! Thought it would be a fun hobby and now i love it! I love trying new colors/styles/patterns. For washing Jeanelle recommends hand wash, and then lay flat to dry. Always check with her if your wanting something tweaked on a design, she's great at customizing. The Mrs. Darcy

Okay done being silly. So Monica aka Mrs. Darcy opened her etsy shop in April 2010 with beautiful brooches and headpieces. Monica describes her passion for these creations as:

I love anything Jane Austen, but my favorite story of all time is Pride and Prejudice. Do you ever wonder what happened to Lizzie Bennett after she became Mrs. Fitzwilliam Darcy? Gorgeous single 8" bloom, hand cut, stiffened and sewn with pink stamens to create the most beautiful brooch/corsage for all your Spring occasions!


 Dearest Marianne brooch/corsage

In Sense and Sensibility, Elinor Dashwood often referred to her sister Marianne as "Dearest." I think this brooch is beautiful and romantic just like Marianne. This brooch consists of one large stiffened vintage cotton bloom (floral), one cotton polka dot bloom (pink/white) and one stiffened yellow linen bloom and adorned with white eyelet leaves. Wouldn't this make a lovely bridesmaid accessory?! 

 The Secret Garden Corsage Brooch

I love this brooch, and it took me a good long time to make it - but so worth it! This lovely large brooch consists of three flowers in shades of beautiful blues, adorned with green leaves and pearls. It's absolutely beautiful! 

Fabulous, I know! I discovered Monica's creations when I was shopping over at Evystree. These two ladies have teamed up a few times and the results have been so pretty!

Monica's brooches and corsages are so pretty, that they can turn any simple jacket, tee or hoodie in to a fashion forward piece.  Kindered Spirits headbands

Kindred Spirits headband is an amazing headband that consists of silk rosettes in two shades of yellow, two shades of pink and chartreuse green, adorned with dark green velvet leaves and faux pearls - they are divine together. This is attached to a brown elastic headband, but other options are available upon request, i.e. think plastic headband, stretch lace, etc. 

 The Georgiana Darcy Headband

This lovely little whimsical headband was named after Georgiana Darcy - an elegant and classy accomplished young lady. The pom poms are a vibrant pink and attached are two blue/pink hued silk rosettes

Pipsqueak Couture - Modern French Style Boutique

Oh how I am so happy I found this boutique. And I am so happy I have an adorable little girl to play dress up with. Pipsqueak Couture is a shop that features whimsical, edgy, vintage, french farmstyle designs. Shannon, the designer, began her passion of creating these fabulous designs in 2007 after having her first baby. Shannon simply wanted a signature logo onesie for her boutique, sales exploded and she expanded her designs to an array of baby and toddler clothing that is whimsical, fun and girlie...practical, yet darling! Shannon loves everything whimsical and over the top. Beautiful fabrics and trims inspire her creations.

LULU LIBERTY FESTIVE DRESS

Here at Pipsqueak Couture, we are anything but traditional, however we love designing around holidays, so here is our twist on a fabulous Fourth of July frock! The Lulu Liberty dress is a knot dress with cinched back, and features a vintage textile at the center front...so read, this dress is very limited as to what I can make b/c stock is limited! The top of the bodice is embellished with a large rosette. This is the perfect dress for any summer day, and still fun for back to school come fall. And it is very adjustable, so you should get a couple years wear out of this easily!

This dress is ready to ship to you in a size 5-6...if you need it in another size, check my other listings for your custom pick of sizes!

Your little girl will love this whimsical dress as much as you, bodice has little bunnies and fairytale creatures throughout, my girls were fighting over this one!

LITTLE FRENCHIE ROUCHED SKIRT

I smile every time I look at this design. It is so pretty. Shannon created this for her daughter Aspens birthday outfit, and she loved it so much she was generous enough to share.

Designed for my daughter's birthday, I have brought this into my shop. This is the little frenchie skirt in garden green, it features lots of pretty rouched/gathered panels vertically all around the skirt...this is definitely a show stopper! It is custom made for you in the size you specify with a 2 week turn around to you in sizes 1-2, 3-4, or 5-6. Please specify in the comments section what size you would like when you check out.

This skirt pairs back to lots of our tops...shown here with the Framed Bird long sleeve top in Frosting, but also looks really cute with the pink puff sleeve top with the birdcages on it!

OLIVE FRENCH PEASANT APRON DRESS

How gorgeous is this!!! Love Love Love. Ugh... so many beautiful dresses. 

So darling, and so one of a kind! This is a part of our French Farmhouse fall collection. This is the little french peasant dress. This dress is custom made for you with a two week turnaround to you in the size you specify. It is available in sizes 12 months, 2t,3t,4t,5 or size 6. I can make this thru a size 10 but pricing is a little different. This dress does include a vintage apron on it....out of my choice of linen depending on your little one's size...you will love I promise! This peasant dress layers over the garden pants really cute! If you would like me to coordinate color palettes just convo me! It is a shorter dress and meant to be layered!

Oh Fiddlesticks! Vintage Inspired + Modern Day Twist

So excited to share this fabulous shop with you. This shop was created in 2008 by two fun and creative mommy's! I love their description of being two Texas mamas with an itch to create. 1 self taught artist + 1 first grade teacher = oh fiddlesticks! Being a previous resident of Texas down at good 'ol Baylor U. I immediatley loved them.

So these ladies have a lot to say about what they do and WHY they do it- cause they love fashion (duh!)

Our children shirts are hip and trendy but playful and we love that it takes a bit of brains to crack the code.....don’t stress, the answer is on the back ;) The design on the front represents a fun COMPOUND WORD which is screen-printed on the back. This idea was born in a 1st grade classroom!

Jen, our self-taught artist, draws all the art for the shirts. We use a local screen print company, Outhouse, to print our art onto our various fabrics which are then cut out and sewn on by us with an always fabulous decorative stitch.  The font on the back is different and fresh for every new design. We are also proud to offer a screen-printed label….NO TAGS….NO NAGS for your lil’ monsters! We use 100% cotton American Apparel shirts. Made in the USA.

How fun are these shirts?! And lets credit the photographer too, amazing setup and props. These ladies have over 3,300 fans on their facebook page, so I'm thinking people really love their stuff :-) From the customer feedback I've read, everyone is a satisfied customer. I would much rather have my kids wearing one of these shirts instead of doing free advertising for some overpriced big company.... no naming, just saying :-)

Bella Bean Couture

So with my sister-in-law Karlye's wedding fast approaching (less than 3 months!) I have flower girl dresses on the brain. Ellie is the only flower girl in this wedding, so her dress needs to be a show stopper, of course. So the first dress I ordered for her was a flop. It is now in the dress up box. The second dress has not arrived yet, but I know it will be fabulous. But just in case.... I ordered one more, he he he. I can't help myself.

So I found this boutique on etsy. Faith (designer & owner) is a mom who has been sewing up these dresses since she launched her shop last June (and probably a little longer). She has a seamstress and a tutu designer that help her with these beautiful dresses. Let me show you the one that is on order for Miss Ellie:

Tutu made from A LOT of the best quality soft tulle from the USA. Strewn through out with glitter tulle. (can be done without glitter also) 1 inch elastic waistband will stretch with your child as they grow. Tutu length is 23 inches (can be customized shorter or longer for an extra fee). Tutu can be sewn if preferred.

Detachable train adds about 20-24 inches of length to the dress (depending on the size). Can be customized for your taste. Contact me for more info. Attaches with tulle ties. Beautiful going down the aisle or for portraits!

Top is done in an purple satin with a crisscross tie back. Detailed shoulder straps available in silver only.Straps can be made from plain satin also to match colors. Can be done as a halter neck style also. Tie and straps can be done in different colors also. GET CREATIVE! :)
There are tons of different tulle colors to choose from- so you can find the perfect match. You can also have additional embellishments added...flowers, sequins, rhinestones, ribbon if you'd like. She is great at customizing her designs to match your idea of the perfect dress.

Pretty Little Lion

I am so glad that I can call the creator of this shop ‘friend’! I was fortunate enough to meet Jill over 8 years ago (yes Jill, really), it was just a business-customer relationship, but I felt like I was always seeing a friend when I went to the shop. Over the years we have both worked in several different occupations, and somehow are always bumping into each other. Lucky! Well now Miss Jill has discovered her passion for making ‘pretties’.
