Hoots and Turkey's, Oh my!

Let me begin with I AM SO SORRY for bing M.I.A for some time now. This little thing called LIFE has been keeping me busy. And I'll be honest, there are so many of you crafty moms out there, I have gotten a little overwhelmed. I just didn't know who to write about next...and well it turned into me not writing at all. That is not fair to anyone, especially these shops I am so excited to find and I want all of YOU to know about. So with that.... lets begin, again!

There are lots of new shops I have discovered, but today I'm going to focus on HALLOWEEN and THANKSGIVING ensembles. So its an all-skate of new and previously featured shops. A win-win I say.

One of my personal faves Bella Claire Baby has done some amazing pieces for these two holidays. There's bloomers, onsies, bows and leggins, oh my!! If only I still had a chunky baby to put these adorable outfits on! And for the matchting tutus, Hannah's Tutus!

Now Little Wellies has taken the combo of costume meets outfit- here she has created these adorbale outfits to resemble disney princesses...to just wear to town or a playdate. So many choices!! I think Belle is my favorite.

So what to wear if your a mom?!.... Evy's Tree Pumpkin Spice Barilla OF COURSE!!! I'm not sure why I haven't snagged this one up yet...and there's a mini too...so you can be matchy-match.

LaMonique Boutiqe has been whipping up some fun dresses, great for school days!

And (new shoppe) Vintage Baby & Kids has sewn some adorable rompers for Hallow's eve, how cute would this be with little kitty ears...or some fabulous head band?!

Speaking of hair accessories....can't leave that out! Giddy up and Grow has you all hooked up!

And continuing on the accessories theme, check out the necklaces from MiaMoo! she has everything! Some go with the disney outfits from Little Wellies...and others just for FALL.

And if you REALLY want to flashy, fabulous pieces...you gotta check out Fabulousy Flamboyant (new shoppe) They are show stoppers!

Do you have enought choices?! He he he....so many, I know! I hope you find some things that you just LOVE!

The Mrs. Darcy

This might be your favorite post! Not only do you get to discover the fabulous Mrs. Darcy, but you have the chance to win one of her items!! Who loves giveaways?! Me!

Okay done being silly. So Monica aka Mrs. Darcy opened her etsy shop in April 2010 with beautiful brooches and headpieces. Monica describes her passion for these creations as:

I love anything Jane Austen, but my favorite story of all time is Pride and Prejudice. Do you ever wonder what happened to Lizzie Bennett after she became Mrs. Fitzwilliam Darcy? I can only imagine that she hosted and attended the most elegant balls and parties with her dashing husband. In this store, you will find pretties for all ages including beautiful hair accessories and brooches/corsages that I dream even Mrs. Darcy would wear. Happy shopping!

Monica puts lots of thought into her products, with the names and everything. So here are some of her items and their stories:
High Tea Brooch Corsage-Vintage Floral Fabric
Gorgeous single 8" bloom, hand cut, stiffened and sewn with pink stamens to create the most beautiful brooch/corsage for all your Spring occasions!

 Dearest Marianne brooch/corsage
In Sense and Sensibility, Elinor Dashwood often referred to her sister Marianne as "Dearest." I think this brooch is beautiful and romantic just like Marianne. This brooch consists of one large stiffened vintage cotton bloom (floral), one cotton polka dot bloom (pink/white) and one stiffened yellow linen bloom and adorned with white eyelet leaves. Wouldn't this make a lovely bridesmaid accessory?!
 The Secret Garden Corsage Brooch
I love this brooch, and it took me a good long time to make it - but so worth it! This lovely large brooch consists of three flowers in shades of beautiful blues, adorned with green leaves and pearls. It's absolutely beautiful!

Fabulous, I know! I discovered Monica's creations when I was shopping over at Evystree. These two ladies have teamed up a few times and the results have been so pretty!

Monica's brooches and corsages are so pretty, that they can turn any simple jacket, tee or hoodie in to a fashion forward piece. I love that you can switch around and wear her creations on all sorts of different things, so its like making something old, new every time! Click HERE to see the MB feature on Evystree.

Oh and lets not forget the hair pieces!!

 Kindered Spirits headbands
Kindred Spirits headband is an amazing headband that consists of silk rosettes in two shades of yellow, two shades of pink and chartreuse green, adorned with dark green velvet leaves and faux pearls - they are divine together. This is attached to a brown elastic headband, but other options are available upon request, i.e. think plastic headband, stretch lace, etc.

 The Georgiana Darcy Headband
This lovely little whimsical headband was named after Georgiana Darcy - an elegant and classy accomplished young lady. The pom poms are a vibrant pink and attached are two blue/pink hued silk rosettes
